Spurs’ Beth England twice equalised for a 2-2 draw with Brighton in a Barclays Women’s Super League relegatioclash at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Brighton were ahead inside ten minutes, as Katie Robinson’s cross was met by Elisabeth Terland, who scored at the second attempt after Becky Spencer parried the initial effort.

Less than two minutes later and Spurs were level, Beth England heading home following a corner.

Brighton regained the lead after 65 minutes, Robinson again with the assist and substitute Lee Geum-min with a 20-yard finish into the bottom corner.

With a dozen minutes left, England got her second of the day for Spurs as she raced onto Kit Graham’s through ball and fired into the roof of the net.

A frantic finish could not deliver a decider, leaving Tottenham three points of the bottom and Brighton only two.
