Spurs Women sign Wales international Angharad James on a contract until 2024, with the option for a further year.

James joins from Orlando Pride, for whom she made 11 appearances after signing from Everton in December 2021.

The 28-year-old midfielder has also played for Arsenal, Bristol City, Notts County, Yeovil Town and Reading, contributing to a decade in the WSL, as well as her experience internationally extending to 97 caps.

Head Coach Rehanne Skinner told tottenhamhotspur.com: “I am pleased to welcome Haz to the club, having previously worked together at Arsenal and the Wales national team. She is a very experienced midfielder who will add quality to the team both in and out of possession. Her growth and impact on the pitch has been evident and we feel she will thrive in our style of play.”
