Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed the signing of experienced England international forward Beth England from Chelsea.
The 28-year-old has signed a contract with Spurs until June 2026, after ending a seven-year stint at Chelsea, for whom she racked up more than 150 appearances.
Part of Sarina Wiegman’s squad that won Euro 2022 in the summer, she currently has 21 senior international caps to her name, scoring 11 goals.
Beth England told tottenhamhotspur.com: “It’s obviously a big day for myself and I’m excited to get going, The club has got a lot of ambitions and I’m hoping that I can add to that and hopefully get the club where it wants to be.
“It’s definitely going to be a challenge, different for me going from blue to white after obviously spending so long at Chelsea, but I’m excited for it and it’s something that I’m going to relish, a challenge that I’ll embrace with open arms. I’m sure it’s going to be an amazing new chapter for me and hopefully I can bring a lot of goals to the club, as well as my experience and just a bit of leadership in the front line.
