The match is in aid of Everton in the Community’s Home Is Where The Heart Is campaign and the Toffees are encouraging fans to come along for free but make a donation towards EitC’s fundraising drive. Tickets are available from the box offices at Goodison Park, Everton One and Everton Two.
As well as the football, there will be pre-match entertainment as Goodison Park transforms into a mini-match day, including football coaching sessions, inflatable games and face painting.
Andy Spence, Everton Ladies manager, said: “To have the opportunity to play at Goodison is fantastic for the players and it will be a special day for everyone associated with the team.
“We hope to see a big crowd in attendance so that we can showcase the very best of Everton Ladies to both new and existing fans.”
All proceeds from the match will go towards Home Is Where The Heart Is, a fundraising campaign led by David Unsworth and his U-23 squad to support young people on the brink of homelessness across the city of Liverpool.
The aim is to raise £230,000 to fund and develop a supported-living initiative for young people in Liverpool, delivered by EitC. The funds raised will be used to purchase, and operate, a house close to Goodison Park which will offer 16 to 23-year-olds who have fallen on hard times, or have perhaps fallen out of the care system, a place to stay in Liverpool.
