Sports Direct Women’s Premiership 2025 season fixtures released

Sports Direct Womens Premiership 2025 fixtures released.
Fixtures for the highly anticipated 2025 Sports Direct Women’s Premiership season are out, with Northern Ireland’s top-tier returning on Friday 9 May.

Treble winners in 2024, Cliftonville kick off their title defence at home to Linfield on the opening night.

Glentoran, who were last season’s runners-up and 2023 champions, will begin their campaign with an away trip to Lisburn Ladies at the Bluebell Stadium.

Lisburn Rangers, last season’s surprise package, will kick-off their second season in the top flight at home to Larne at Crewe Park, while at Seaview Crusaders Strikers will take on Derry City.

The new format of the Women’s Premiership will see each of the eight competing teams playing against each other home and away over 14 rounds, before the league splits into two sections for a further three crunch fixtures.

Fans can catch all the action, goals, and excitement live and on demand on DAZN and on the NI Football League’s digital platforms throughout the season.

Ahead of the big Premiership kick-off is the start of the VBET Women’s League Cup group stage on Friday 11 April 2025.
