The final day of the Sports Direct NIFL Women’s Premiership saw Glentoran receive the league trophy and Larne relegate Ballymena United.
Cliftonville 1-2 Crusaders Strikers
Glentoran 2-0 Linfield
Larne 1-0 Ballymena United
Lisburn Ladies 3-1 Derry City
Sion Swifts 5-2 Mid Ulster
Ballymena United went into their last match effectively needing to win to have a chance of escaping the drop at Mid-Ulster’s expense, and although the latter lost 5-2 at Sion Swifts, United went down after Larne’s Rachel Robinson grabbed a stoppage-time winner against them.
NIWFA Championship winners Lisburn Rangers will replace Ballymena in the Premiership.
Already champions, Glentoran finished six points clear at the top with a 2-0 defeat of Linfield as Demi Vance netted in either half.
