Sporting Club Albion clinched the Northern Division title with a 4-1 victory over Bradford City, that took them above Preston with a game to spare. They got off to a cracking start as Summer Holmes rifled in and Kelly Darby doubled the lead with a 17th-minute header. Sammy Conroy further extended the advantage early in the second half and although the visitors replied, Abi Cottam made sure of the points with 8 minutes to go. Albion will face Brighton in the WSL promotion play-off at Wycombe Wanderers FC on May 29th.

Stoke City went third in the table after a 4-1 win over Nottingham Forest. Ashleigh Hayes got the only first-half goal before completing a hat-trick and Kate Asher scored the other for the Potters, while Moriah McIntosh got an injury-time consolation for Forest.

Nuneaton Town missed their last chance to secure their safety, going down 2-1 at home to Newcastle United. Lauren Driver and Sophie Williams got the goals for the Magpies, while Nuneaton have to wait and see if they will hold tenth spot.

Coventry United beat third-placed Cardiff City Ladies to pip Portsmouth to fourth position on goal-difference. Nikki Miles and Libby Piggott were on the scoresheet for the hosts.

Mossley Hill took fifth place in Northern Division 1 with a 2-1 result at Chester-le-Street, where Sophie Perry was on target.

Tranmere ran out 6-1 winners over nine-player Norton to move out of the relegation zone on goal-difference. Amber Bailey got a couple, Faye Jones, Anna Stones, Denise Campbell and Rachel Rigby one each, with Sian Williams netting for Norton. Rovers still have two game to play and are just two goals better off than Stockport County.

There was heartbreak for Peterborough Northern Star, who thought they had escaped a bottom-two finish in the Midlands when Sofia Aragosa netted a free-kick 3 minutes from the end. But Anna Perks equalised with a header 2 minutes into stoppage time. PNS do however avoid finishing bottom, as Leafield Athletic end up their on goal-difference.

Gillingham made absolutely sure of the South East runnerrs-up spot when crushing hosts Norwich City 8-0. Kallie Balfour did most of the damage with a double hat-trick, while Emma Tune bagged a brace.

Bedford hosted a double header with Old Actonians with the home side winning the first game 2-0 but losing the second 2-1, which wasn’t enough to see them avoid last place. Rebecca Reeve bagged bost goals in the 2-0 result, one from a penalty which Chelsea Hunter won. Kaiya Glynn levelled for Bedford in game two, only for Old Actonians to grab a late winner.

Third-placed Keynsham Town got the only goal of the game away at Shanklin in the South West Division.
