“I see myself as a senior player but I’m not done learning and that’s what I’m excited for – what motivates me is the journey and being a part of this season.”

Director of Women’s Football, Marieanne Spacey-Cale added: “We’re delighted to welcome Rachel to the club as our first signing of the summer, she’s a player that will add real quality and experience to the group both on and off the pitch.

“She knows what it takes to play in the WSL, which is the level we’re aspiring to reach, and we’re looking forward to having her play a part in our journey.”
