Southampton FC Women have signed 24 year-old midfielder Chloe Peplow on loan from Barclays WSL side Reading.
The former England youth international has previously played for Birmingham City, Brighton and Spurs, while she spent the first half of this season on loan at Crystal Palace.
Head Coach Marieanne Spacey-Cale told southamptonfc.com: “I’m really delighted that we’ve got this over the line. Chloe is an excellent player who’ll definitely add impact and value to our squad.
“I’m really excited to work with her but I also think she’s looking forward to being in an environment where she can really flourish and be the player that she can be.
Peplow commented: “I know Marieanne, I’ve worked with her previously, and as soon as I came down and heard her speak about the infrastructure, the ambition of the club and how integrated the men’s and the women’s teams are, that’s what did it for me.”
