FAWNL: Southampton FC Women can clinch title at St Mary’s

Southampton FC have the chance to become FA Women’s National League Southern Premier champions at St Mary’s in midweek.

The Saints will clinch the Southern Premier Division title if they beat Portsmouth in the south coast derby at St Mary’s.

Sheffield FC’s relegation from the Northern Premier will be confirmed if they do not win at Brighouse.

Division 1 North leaders Liverpool Feds have a testing trip to fourth-placed Chorley, Barnsley will get out of the relegation zone if they do not lose to Stockport.

Leafield will secure their Division 1 Midlands status should they defeat Sporting Khalsa, Southampton Women must win at Poole to keep up their hopes of finishing second.

Tuesday 19 April (7.45pm)

Division 1 North – Barnsley v Stockport County (Wombwell Recreation Ground)
Division 1 South – Poole Town v Southampton Women (Fawcetts Field Sports Ground)

Wednesday 20 April (7.45pm)

Southern Premier – Southampton FC v Portsmouth (St.Mary’s Stadium)
Division 1 North – Alnwick Town v Durham Cestria (Alnwick Town FC)

Thursday 21 April (7.45pm)

Northern Premier – Brighouse Town v Sheffield FC (Brighouse Town AFC)
Division 1 Midlands – Leafield Athletic v Sporting Khalsa (Highgate Utd FC)
Division 1 North – Chorley v Liverpool Feds (UCLAN Sports Arena)

Then on Friday 22 April, Exeter City face South West League opposition in Torquay United for the Devon County Cup at Newton Abbot, kick off 7.15pm.
