Evans brace sees City through
Cardiff City FC Women took a 12th-minute lead with a strike from the edge of the box by Chelsea Cochrane.
But the Bluebirds were left ruing a few missed opportunities from one on ones, as Llandudno curled a free-kick into the top corner just before the break.
City were denied by crossbar and post shortly before Shannon Evans restored their lead in the 69th minute.
The victory remained uncertain in a hard-fought game, until Evans got her second at the death with a close-range finish.

Cardiff Met got their cup defence off to a flying start, scoring three times in the first 10 minutes.
Fifteen year-old Jasmine Simpson struck twice in 5 minutes, with Robyn Pinder getting the Archers’ third.
Although Caernarfon Town replied from a free kick 3 minutes into the second half, Tija Richardson turned in Met’s fourth moments later.
