Sheffield United came from behind to beat London City Lionesses 3-1 at Bramall Lane in the Barclays Women’s Championship.

Chantelle Boye-Hlorkah headed the visitors in front from Emma Mukandi’s delivery and it was nearly 2-0 but Fran Stenson pulled off an impressive diving save to keep out Lois Joel’s 25 yard strike.

The Blades began the comeback six minutes into the second half, as Izzy Goodwin headed in from a Jodie Hutton corner.

Goodwin turned provider as Ashley Hodson fired the hosts ahead, getting her second after winning and converting a penalty which saw Georgia Brougham  sent off.

The win lifted United four places to sixth, while the Lionesses slip to ninth spot.
