– Our offices are in Gateshead (in Tyne & Wear), so you will to need to be based in the NE.
– This is NOT an editorial position (though there will be some scope for getting involved in putting together editorial & helping out on the mag and website, as part of the team). It is much more of a marketing, admin, sales & partnerships role.
– We are a small team (part of a slightly bigger company) who are passionate about what we do and so although previous experience would be valued we are just as keen to give the right person the opportunity to develop and prove themselves.

SHE KICKS WOMEN’S FOOTBALL MAGAZINE VACANCY –
MAGAZINE CIRCULATION EXECUTIVE
Salary £15-£18k per annum plus performance related bonus
She Kicks, the women’s football magazine, is seeking to appoint a Magazine Circulation Executive.
Based at our offices in Gateshead, the role will involve:
· Implementation of initiatives to promote and increase copy sales and subscriptions of both the print and digital versions of She Kicks magazine
· Establishing a distribution network of bulk sales of She Kicks magazine via governing bodies, football tournaments, league, clubs and training centres
· Developing and increasing the reach of She Kicks’ digital & social media platforms to, for example, maximise the number of:
- Visitors to the She Kicks website at Shekicks.net
- Subscribers to the She Kicks weekly digital newsletter
- Users of key social media channels and apps
OVERVIEW:
The successful candidate will be expected to possess strong marketing skills and will be required to liaise with football governing bodies, football leagues, football clubs and other organisations to help promote the She Kicks brand across every level of the women’s football community.
Other requirements include social media marketing skills together with a level of IT competence necessary to control and maintain the magazine’s subscription database as well as a willingness to assist the Editor in various aspects of magazine production.
In addition to a basic salary, an uncapped, performance-related bonus is offered.
