4 Position (and have you always played there)? Centre back is where I currently play and has always been my favourite position but I have played at right back and centre mid as well.
5 Team Supporter / Fave player? Support Liverpool and fave player is Javier Mascherano
6. Occupation / or what are you studying? I currently work full time at Merseyrail who are the main sponsors of the club and also study a Business Management degree online.
7 Are there other footballers in your family? My dad thought he was a footballer back when he was younger but mainly my family focus on golf!
8 Favourite game played in by you (and why)? Our school team won the Northern Coca Cola Cup at Under 13s level and the game was played at Goodison Park although I am a Liverpool supporter, it was a great experience to play at Everton’s ground.
9 Your best attribute as a player? I like to think as a centre back my best attribute is strong tackling and my distribution of the ball from the back but my team mates may have other views!
10 What are your ambitions in football? My ambition in football is to just carry on enjoying the game and hopefully win promotion with Merseyrail Bootle.
11 Who has been the biggest influence in your footballing career? My dad has been the biggest influence, he has attended nearly every game I have played in and is never shy to give me some criticism when needed!
12 What is the best thing about playing for your team? Merseyrail Bootle is a brilliant team to play for, on the pitch we work great as a team and off it we have great nights out together, always having a laugh!
13 If you got to design your team’s kit, what would it look like? I would love to have an all black kit but because of the referees’ kit it’s not allowed!
14 Do you listen to music to get you motivated, or while you train – if so, what tracks? We always play music in the changing rooms before the game and recently Bang Bang has been the song of choice
15 Who, that plays for your team, should we know more about and why? It would be good to know more about all the players in the team as they are all brilliant characters in different ways!
