Just the two Regional Leagues were in operation on Sunday 27th August, as Cambridge City top scored with seven goals, while AFC Dunstable and Writtle had an amazing 5-5 draw.
Billericay Town, Bedford and Acle United all have maximum points from the two games so far in the Eastern League Premier Division.
Billericay ran out 6-1 winners at Lowestoft where Lauren Knight got a couple, Bedford won by the best of five goals at Royston Town and Acle saw off AFC Sudbury 5-2, with Rebekah Henderson sent off for the visitors.
The ten goals shared equally between AFC Dunstable and Writtle saw Charlotte South twice on the scoresheet for the Bedfordshire side, Sophie Vale doing likewise for the visitors.
Bella Simmons had a four-goal haul in Cambridge City’s seven at Colchester Town, while Colney Heath remarkably came from 2-0 down to score twice in the last 5 minutes and earn a draw with Brentwood Town.
Ipswich Wanderers and Wymondham shared the points in the Division 1 North top of the table clash, Jade Horne and Tanya McKew netting for Wanderers, Mollie O’Callaghan and Laura Wiseman for Town.
Ipswich Town Development lost 1-0 at home to Cambridge United Res, while Kings Lynn Town kicked off with a 3-1 victory over Silver End United.
The only game to date in Division 1 South saw Hertford Town beaten 3-0 at home by Bishops Stortford, Kathryn Stanley on target twice.

Wasps replace Robins at top
Crawley Wasps went top in the London & South East League after hitting Parkwood for six, with a hat-trick for Faye Rabson.
Carshalton Athletic might have netted ten on the opening day but this Sunday the Robins were goalless against Eastbourne LFC.
London Kent Football United began in style, with a 6-1 victory at Fulham.
