FAWSL 2 champions Yeovil Town have announced some departures, weeks before the team re-commence training in the build up to SSE FA Women’s Cup action, which will be followed by the Spring Series tournament for the Somerset club’s first ever taste of WSL1 football.
Emily Donovan and Ellis Hillman will no longer be at the club but Kayleigh Green is to embark on an exciting opportunity until June 2017, playing in the Italian Serie A for Femminile Chieti.
Yeovil Manager Jamie Sherwood said “This starts the business of developing the squad for the 2017 Spring Series.
“We have some player targets and those talks are ongoing, but importantly the core of the squad will return for the WSL 1 challenge.”
