Scotland will begin their qualification campaign for EURO 2021 with a home fixture against Cyprus, it has been confirmed, reports the Scottish FA.
Shelley Kerr’s side will kick-off their pursuit of a third consecutive major tournament appearance on Friday 30 August 2019, with the Cypriots making their debut in UEFA Women’s European Championship qualifying.
Successive away trips to Albania and Cyprus are then followed by a rematch with EURO 2017 group stage opponents Portugal, who visit Scotland on Tuesday 14 April 2020.
The Scots will then welcome Albania on Friday 5 June 2020 for their penultimate home qualifier of the campaign, before travelling to Finland and Portugal in what could be a vital sequence of fixtures.
The qualifying campaign will conclude in front of a home crowd, with former SWNT head coach Anna Signeul returning to Scotland with her Finland side on Tuesday 22 September 2020.
Venues for all of Scotland’s fixtures will be confirmed in due course.
