The SBS Scottish Women’s Premier League top four all recorded victories, as Glasgow City held their three-point advantage.

Hearts 0-4 Glasgow City
Spartans 3-1 Motherwell
Rangers 11-0- Forfar Farmington
Celtic 3-1 Hibernian

Glasgow City won 4-0 at bottom of the table Hearts to hold top spot in the league. They were two goals to the good inside ten minutes, through Priscila Chinchilla and Cailin Michie, but had to wait until the latter stages for Julia Molin and Jo Love to extend the lead.

Second-placed Rangers thrashed Forfar Farmington 11-0, Sam Kerr leading the way with a hat-trick. Lizzie Arnot, Brogan Hay and Zoe Ness all bagged doubles with substitutes Sonia O’Neill and Clare Gemmell also registering.

Celtic stayed two point behind Rangers but had to come from behind to defeat Hibernian 3-1. Amy Gallacher’s free kick had Hibs ahead but the Hoops hit back on half-time through Kate Nicolson. Eight minutes after the restart, Celtic were awarded a penalty for handball and Chloe Craig converted, with Sarah Ewens completing the scoring soon afterwards.

Spartans sent Motherwell to a 3-1 loss, although Sarah Clelland’s opener from the edge of the box was cancelled out on 20 minutes by Nicole Pullar. Becky Galbraith restored the lead on the half-hour and in the second half, Alana Marshall sent Michaela McAlonie away to net on the half-volley.
