Rangers went top of SBS Scottish Women’s Premier League 1 with a 7-1 midweek victory over Partick Thistle.

It was a fifth win in five for Rangers and although the defeat sent Partick to the foot of the table on goal-difference, they had pulled the score back to 2-1 after the hour mark.

London Pollard beat Megan Cunningham from distance but Lizzie Arnot went on to complete a hat-trick for the hosts.

Kirsten Reilly also got a couple, Brogan Hay a single and Kayla McCoy her first competitive goal for the Gers.
