Dave Dawson, former Sawbridgeworth Town FC Vice-Chairman and women’s team manager, has prompted ‘Sawbo’ to again form a female side.
Players are being recruited to put a team together for entry into the Essex League from the 2017-18 season.
Dave writes: We have set up two training sessions which will be starting on Sunday 10th January 2017, with times of 1pm till 2.30pm, followed by a midweek Thursday session of 7.45pm till 9.15pm. Both theses sessions will be on grass at the club and will be inclusive of a total fee of £3 per week.

Currently as a club we are affiliated to the Herts FA and are in the process of applying for Charter Standard accreditation. Sawbridgeworth Town FC are fully behind this action and I am pleased to say they have always supported the women’s game and would like to continue doing so.
