Chorley’s Sarah Berry will retire this Sunday after their home FA Premier League Northern Division 1 match versus Mossley Hill, having spent a quarter of a century as a player.

We have compiled her complete playing career of what she has won (and the cup finals in which she lost) and her team-mate Sam Cadwallader has kindly given us some photographs from her career spanning 25 years.
As you will see, she spent the majority of her career with Preston North End Women and when they where members of the North West League, they where usually in at least one cup final every year, sometimes two and even three!
It was a proud pleasure for our children, David and Gillian, to present their team with the winners cup or losers medals at most of these Finals and of course again at the end of season presentation evenings ….. great memories indeed.
