Howard graduated two weeks ago with a major in History and a minor in French and was eager to return to training with the Lady Glovers soon after landing back in England, say yeoviltownladies.com.
The 22 year-old played for Yeovil in the 2012/13 season when they came third in the FA Premier League Southern Division and returned as short-term cover last summer before heading back to the USA for her final year. Prior to that, she got selected for the 2013 England Colleges National team.
Howard earned many honours whilst her time in the USA which include, 2016 goalkeeper of the year, 2016 Riders athletic Woman of the year, 2 x defensive player of the year and all-time leader for wins (34) and clean sheets (20) at her University.
On returning Howard said: “I’m incredibly excited to be back playing for Yeovil as it’s my home town club who I have supported my whole life.
“To have the opportunity to play for them in the top division of Women’s Super League 1 is amazing.
“I’m really excited to see what I can bring to the club and to get going!”
Manager, Jamie Sherwood said: “It’s excellent to have Beth return to the club on a full-time basis.
“Her development and progression since leaving has been superb.
“She has come back into the squad for the final games and we will be looking for her to be pushing for the number 1 spot next season.”
