Republic of Ireland Women net nine against Georgia over two legs

Republic of Ireland added three goals to the 1st leg 6-0 lead over Georgia in the UEFA Women’s Championship 1st Round Qualifying Play-Off.

The game was only three minutes old when Ireland added to their 6-0 away leg win, Julie-Ann Russell with the goal.

Kyra Carusa found the top corner from a ball by Jessie Stapleton to make it 2-0 on the night, with just over half an hour played.

In the second half, Katie McCabe found the net following a Denise O’Sullivan corner, to make it 3-0 on the night and a comfortable 9-0 aggregate victory.
