Reading FC Women’s staff have moved into office space at the Madejski Stadium for the first time in the club’s 10 year history.
First team manager and director of women’s football Kelly Chambers said “this is a very positive move for us which will help to strengthen our ties with the club even further”.
The Championship club’s chief executive, Nigel Howe, commented: “We have always seen our women’s side as an integral part of the club and it’s fantastic we have now been able to bring them on site at Madejski Stadium, giving us the opportunity to further support their dedicated team of backroom staff on a daily basis.”
The department were previously based at the John Madejski Academy, where the college programme will continue to be housed, along with the programme’s coaching staff.
