Reading went through to the FA Girls’ U-16 Cup Final, with a 2-1 victory over Manchester United at Bisham Abbey on Saturday 10th March.

The Royals, who previously eliminated Arsenal, Chelsea and Southampton all away from home, came from a goal down to defeat Manchester United, conquerors of Liverpool in the quarter-finals.

Reading must now wait to discover their final opponents, as Leicester City’s match with Manchester City was postponed and re-scheduled for next Saturday.

On the club reaching the final for the first time, Reading FC Women’s manager Kelly Chambers tweeted: What a great result and performance to get into the FA Youth Cup Final against a strong Man Utd side! Exciting to see the talent coming through!! The future is very bright.
