Celtic v Glasgow City (Thursday, 7pm, Celtic Park) – live on Sky Sports
Rangers made the breakthrough against Partick Thistle just before half-time with Lizzie Arnot’s header. Kirsty Howat doubled the advantage, before Tessel Middag converted from the spot.
Hearts defeated Hibernian, with Erin Rennie’s opener added to when Aimee Anderson struck from distance. A header from Katie Lockwood gave Hibs hope and it took a save from Charlotte Parker-Smith to deny Siobhan Hunter a stoppage-time equaliser.
Aberdeen’s late goal by Bayley Hutchison’s means they have avoided the relegation play-off, which is now between Hamilton Academical and Dundee United.
Hamilton remain two points behind United, following defeat at home to Spartans, whose Becky Galbraith, Simone McMahon, Hannah Jordan and Louise Mason netted. Lucy Sinclair had earlier halved the deficit at 2-1, MT Gardiner got Accies late second.
Motherwell inflicted Glasgow Women’s 30th straight defeat of the league campaign, Louise Boyes adding a first-half brace to Carla Boyce’s opener.
