Rangers regain Scottish Women’s Premier League leadership

Rangers are back on top of the Scottish Women’s Premier League, Glasgow City also recorded a third straight win.

Rangers beat Hearts 2-0 with both goals in their last half-hour, to knock Celtic off first place.

Kirsty Howat made the breakthrough and Sam Kerr got the second, heading home a corner from Lizzie Arnot.

Glasgow City sank newcomers Dundee United 7-0 to sit level on points in the top three.

Emily Whelan and Priscila Chinchilla both netted first-half braces for City, Lauren Davidson also completed a double, with Niamh Noble the other scorer.
