Blackburn have to quickly put their FA Cup exit behind them as they take on Middlesbrough in a top of the table clash, where a Rovers win would go some way towards clinching the Northern title. Third-placed Bradford go to West Brom, next to bottom Nottingham Forest have an East Midlands derby with Leicester, Stoke face Derby in a mid-table meeting, while Huddersfield host basement side Newcastle with four points between them.

New Southern leaders Cardiff could find their status immediately at risk with the visit from Charlton, who are just two points behind them. Spurs may retake the top spot if they beat Lewes and if the weather intervenes elsewhere, Coventry might move into pole posiiton with a victory at QPR. C&K Basildon need to beat Crystal Palace to start bridging the gap between themselves and the top five, while West Ham are last on goal-difference as they welcome Portsmouth.

Loughborough Foxes are three points clear of Wolves in Midlands Division 1 as they head for Rotherham and Wanderers go to Long Eaton, while Sporting Khalsa in third host Steel City. TNS take on Radcliffe a point ahead of them in fifth, Birmingham & West Midlands sit inbetween and visit Loughborough Students who are effecitvely a dozen points from safety. That position is likely to worsen as the two teams abive them, Solihull and Leicester Ladies, go head to head.

Four of the Northern Division 1’s top five play among each other, with Chester le Street home to unbeaten Guiseley and Hull hosting Liverpool Feds. Chorley are four points clear at the top with Mossley their visitors, while Crewe play Morecambe and Leeds face Blackpool Wren Rovers, who are three points short of them with a game in hand.

MK Dons sit at the South East summit with a trip to Norwich, while Cambridge look to keep up their challenge when hosting Ipswich, likewise Wimbledon at Actonians and Gillingham home to Luton – the latter with a 1pm kick-off. Elsewhere, Enfield have the chance to leapfrog visitors Denham and Stevenage entertain Lowestoft with both seeking only a second win.

Two of the South West promotion chasers clash with Larkhall playing Plymouth. Leaders Chichester meet Maidenhead with a later start of 3.30pm, while Keynsham and Southampton Saints look to maintain their pursuit of them against Basingstoke and Cheltenham respectively. Brislington are home to Exeter and St Nicholas hosting Shanklin (at a changed venue), with both visiting sides still after a first victory of the campaign.
