Tenth-placed West Brom welcome third in the table Derby for a Northern Division clash on Wednesday and while the Rams are looking to gain ground on Middlesbrough, the Baggies currently have enough games in hand with which to catch their visitors.
While Albion’s return to league action comes after a good SSE FA Cup run and very respectable result at WSL 1 Birmingham City, Derby have posted impressive back to back wins by putting five goals past Fylde and staging a stunning comeback to defeat Stoke City 4-3.
Thursday then brings two games in South West Division 1, including a Hampshire derby.
Southampton Saints have only lost once this season and a midweek win would see them close in on the top three. But Basingstoke will be after a fourth victory in their forst ever FAWPL campaign.
St Nicholas will start the game against mid-table Brislington five points behind them but with two games in hand.
