Benson began very much the underdogs, playing two divisions below the Southern League runners-up and finishing second themselves to Oxford City’s Development team in the Thames Valley Counties.
City soon established their seniority with a 9th-minute lead from a Mollie Avery header off a corner kick.
However, the Lionesses then had a good attacking spell but were unable to level.
Oxford came close to doubling their lead but Natalie Morris tipped a goal-bound shot over the bar.
Benson remained in the game and produced some chances of their own but City doubled their lead with a Rosie McCabe strike which beats the keeper on the inside post.
That concluded the scoring and Oxford City lifted the cup for a twelfth time.
