Norway and Finland could play unchanged sides from those that respectively beat Switzerland and Iceland in the opening matchday of Euro 2025.
Ada Hegerberg will be looking to add to the goal she scored against Switzerland which pulled Norway level.
The Finland side will likely include new London City Lionesses signing Sanni Franssi.
Norway predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Fiskerstrand; Bjeldge, Mjelde, Hansen, Lund; Risa, Engen; Maanum, Graham Hansen, Reiten; Hegerberg
Finland predicted XI (4-4-1-1): Koivunen; Koivisto, Kuikka, Nystrom, Tynnila; Siren, Summanen, Oling, Kosola; Franssi; Sallstrom
Norway vs Finland prediction
Norway or Finland could book themselves a spot in the quarter-finals of Euro 2025 when the two nations meet on Sunday.
Finland have not reached the last-eight since making the quarter-finals back in 2009 – four years after reaching the semi-finals.
Norway are two-time winners of the competition and will be fancied by many to make the quarter-finals on Sunday.
However, their recent performances have been far from convincing. Norwegian media criticised the team for their first-half display against Switzerland, comparing it to their 2-0 friendly loss to Sweden a week prior.
However, Norway can take solace from the fact that they didn’t have to perform at their best levels to beat Switzerland. They should also walk away with victory from their clash with Finland this weekend.
We predict Norway to take a 2-0 victory, which according to the best online bookmakers for UK bettors, is available at odds of 6/1.
Prediction: Norway 2-0 Finland – 6/1
Norway vs Finland betting tips
- Norway vs Finland betting tip 1 – Ada Hegerberg to score first goal
The 29-year-old has so often proven herself to be an integral player for the Norwegian national side, scoring 50 goals in 92 appearances.
She came to their rescue in their Euro 2025 opener against Switzerland, heading in the equaliser before an own goal gave Norway the lead five minutes later.
The Lyon star will fancy her chances of adding to her Euro 2025 tally against Finland on Sunday.
She will also be keen to make up for missing a penalty during the clash with Switzerland, which could have given Norway a more comfortable victory.
- Norway vs Finland betting tip 2 – Half-time draw, full-time Norway victory – 7/2
Norway were very slow to get off the marks during their Women’s Euro 2025 opener against Switzerland.
Finland have a solid defence and could make it hard for Norway to score their first goal.
So it would be no surprise to see the sides goalless going into the first-half interval.
