Northern Ireland Women’s U19s sink Estonia 7-0

Northern Ireland made a strong start to their UEFA Women’s U-19 qualifying Group 9 games, with a 7-1 victory over Estonia at Shamrock Park.

Although Kaia Deane’s opener was cancelled out by Evelyn Šilina, Alexandra Collighan restored the lead by the break.

Alfie Wylie’s side ran away with it after the restart, Megan Bell, Kelsie Burrows and Louise McDaniel all scoring in a 14-minute spell.

Callaghan then got her second goal in stoppage time and there was still time for substitute Kaitlyn Canavan to get on the scoresheet.

Northern Ireland are back at Shamrock Park at 7pm on Friday to face Kosovo, who went down 6-0 to Germany in their first match.
