This week saw the launch of a brand new online video show promoting women’s football in Northern Ireland.
The ‘NI Women’s Football Show’ is a new series produced by 1880 Video CIC with the informal 30-minute chat show aiming to cover all aspects of the Women’s game in Northern Ireland, from international football to domestic leagues, futsal and grassroots development.
In the first episode the special studio guest was the manager of the NI Women’s senior team, Kenny Shiels, who looked back at his management career in the Irish and Scottish leagues, as well as bringing his story right up to date with his joy, hopes and aspirations in managing the Northern Ireland Women.
Also featuring was Lisburn Rangers defender Ella Haughey, who recently was called up for the first time by the Irish for their friendly against England.
