Northern Ireland scored two very late goals to overturn a deficit against Bosnia and Herzegovina in UEFA Women’s Nations League Group B1.
Brenna McPartlan scored her first goal for Northern Ireland, heading them one up from Lauren Wade’s 17th-minute corner kick.
The visitors hit back fast after the break, Emina Ekic going on a solo run to score and Marija Milinkovic’s angled half-volley in off the far post in the 49th minute.
Ellie Mason saw her close-range effort turned away by goalkeeper Almina Hodzick, who did not deal with a Megan Bell free kick but got away with it.
Huge late drama, as in the 89th minute Simone Magill got to Mason’s ball to nod past the keeper and in added time completed a dramatic late double in making it 3-2.
