Northern Ireland beat Bosnia and Herzegovina 2-0 at Windsor Park to finish second in their UEFA Women’s EURO 2025 Qualifying Group.

Already in the play-offs, the Irish could now be seeded for the first round in October, with the draw this Friday.

Casey Howe delivered for Danielle Maxwell to get in a header but goalkeeper Almina Hodzic pushed it out for a corner.

Joely Andrews hit the woodwork two minutes before the break but a similar time after the restart she found the net, turning in a cross from Howe.

Jackie Burns, on her 50th cap, tipped an Ena Sabanagic shot from distance over the bar to keep Northern Ireland’s lead intact.

Lauren Wade doubled the lead midway through the second half, racing onto a Brenna McPartlan through ball to find the back of the net.
