Leeds day that Gary has taken this difficult decision as he wants the club to be propelled to the next level of football.
His aim has always been to see Leeds Ladies in the WSL with a full junior contingent and development squad. He firmly believes that to see those aims realised, someone else should now take the helm.
A successor has already been appointed and will be announced at the end of the season.
Key areas of focus for the new Chairman will be building relationships, as well as improving the organisational and revenue structure of the Club both on and off the field to allow it to grow and succeed.
