New Highs For England And Australia

The USA, Germany and France are unchanged as the top three but England have reached a highest ever position of fourth, Australia leapt four places to a best ever fifth, Sweden rose two to sixth, while Japan and North Korea slipped three places, with Canada replacing Norway in tenth.

A resurgent China jumped five to 12th and Costa Rica also made a strong advance of four places to 30th.

More locally, Scotland stay 21st and Wales 36th, while Republic of Ireland are down one to 33rd but Northern Ireland up four to 62nd.

The next FIFA/Coca-Cola Women’s World Ranking will be published on 24 June 2016.
