Moore And Potter Extend Notts County Contracts

The England duo joined the Lady Pies midway through the 2016 season and Notts County say they quickly became key members of the team who finished the campaign strongly, picking up seven points from the final four games.

The new contracts will see both players remain at Meadow Lane for both the Spring Series and the new 2017-18 winter FA WSL season.

On signing her extension, Jo Potter told nclfc.co.uk, “I’m really pleased to have committed my future to Notts County. We have a fantastic fan base at Notts and I’m excited for what we can all achieve together, starting with the Spring Series and a successful FA Cup campaign.”

Jade Moore added, “I’ve had a good six months at Notts County and I’m back enjoying my football again, which is very important to me. I’m glad to be able to have re-signed with Notts County and I’m really looking forward to the next 18 months at Meadow Lane.”

Notts County manager Rick Passmoor added, “Jade and Jo are both exceptional players and we’re delighted to have kept them here at Notts County for an extended period. Both players came in halfway through last season and by the end of the season had settled in well and were showing the quality they possess. With a full pre-season behind them I’m confident we will see even more from both players.”
