From their SSE Women’s FA Cup game against London Bees on February 5th onward, Lee Burch’s side will play at the home of Fisher FC.
Last October, Millwall Community Trust were appointed to manage the stadium in Salter Road, Southwark, with the facility recently undergoing a £1m investment programme.
“We aim to make this a home for women’s football in the local area,” said a statement from the Millwall Lionesses board.
“With our RTC, development and first teams playing and training here, we have a solid home base. We’d like to thank the Council and Millwall Community Trust for the opportunity to have our own home.”
Lionesses manager Lee Burch added: “We aim to make this a mini Den. It’s a great ground, not too far from The Den, so it keeps us close to our roots. We want to have the same atmosphere we get there at St Paul’s, which will sound fantastic throughout the Spring Series.”
