Horwood (pictured), a commanding midfielder, joins from Reading where she won promotion to WSL 1 last season. Gurr has re-joined the Lionesses from Brighton for whom she scored 24 goals over the course of their 2015/16 WPL Championship-winning campaign.
Lionesses assistant manager, Lauren Phillips, said: “Both Bonnie and Charlotte bring experience and quality to the pitch that we will see instantly. They are players we are aiming to build a foundation on and their arrival shows clear intent of our position.”
Horwood and Gurr will go straight into the squad for tonight’s game against London Bees at Golders Green Lane, Sutton United FC.
Kick-off is at 7.45pm and tickets will be available on the door priced at £5 adults and £2 concessions.
