Middlesbrough replaced Blackburn as Northern Division leaders, as Bianca Owens, Emily Scarr and Ellie Dobson scored in a 3-2 win at Derby. Nicole Dale and Ellie May replied to keep the Rams in the game before County’s Sam Griffiths missed a stoppage-time penalty.

Leicester City Women went third when hitting hosts Huddersfield for six. Kim Farrow completed a first-half hat-trick from the spot, Shauna Cossens. Lauren Impey and Sophie Domingo contributing one each.

Bradford completed their first ever league double over Stoke, the first of a Hannah Campbell brace coming inside two minutes, with Abi Lee adding a third just before the break.

Nottingham Forest hit Newcastle 5-1 in the basement battle, with Annabel McKechnie, Katie Lowder, Charlotte Broad, Cat Beaver and Georgia Gladwin all on target.

Tottenham toppled Southern leaders Cardiff by netting four second-half goals 4-0 at Swindon. Bianca Baptiste broke the deadlock, Renee Hector, Nikita Whinnett and Kelley Blanchflower followed up with one apiece.

Charlton also went above the Welsh side following a 4-2 scoreline against Portsmouth. Charley Clifford’s early header for the Addicks was cancelled out by Samantha Quayle but Kit Graham, Charlotte Lee and another from Clifford put the home side in control before Sarah Kempson pulled one back.

QPR picked up only their second point of the campaign when holding West Ham to a draw. Knut Melfald scored after 7 minutes for the Hammers but Jenny Critchley equalised 10 minutes later.

Loughborough Foxes extended their lead at the top of the Midlands by thumping Rotherham 7-1, Emma Pilling leading the way with a four-goal haul. Sporting Khalsa went level with second-placed Wolves on points and goal-difference with an 8-0 scoreline over Leicester City Ladies.

Guiseley went six points clear in Northern Division 1 with a 4-1 success at Tranmere, where there was a treble for Sarah Danby and single by Natalie Brace.

Unbeaten Gillingham sent South East table-toppers Cambridge to a 4-1 defeat. Although Emma Tune’s early free kick was replied to by Nicole Perschky, April Bowers, Emily Symonds and Amy Taylor saw thw Gills safely home. Wimbledon and MK Dons both won away to pile pressure on the leaders, while Stevenage were denied a first ever FAWPL victory when Donna McGuigan’s effort was levelled by a late Zara Carroll spot-kick for Luton.

Chichester went top in the South West, a 4-0 win at Brislington lifting them above Plymouth. Charlotte Wilson-Blakely struck three times and Laura Ingram the other.

Khyla Brangman and Amy Makewell were amongst the goals as Spurs edged Derby 3-2 to make the Reserve Cup semi-finals. Middlesbrough were 6-2 victors at Brighouse with braces by Harriet Dryden and Lauren Farrow, singles from Daisy Turnbull and Jasmine Pearson.
