Australia’s Matildas held the USA to a 1-1 draw among the midweek women’s international friendly fixtures.
Over 20,000 saw Australia’s second game in the home double-header with the USA and it was only four minutes in that Ashley Hatch gave the visitors the lead.
With time running out, the Matildas earned a draw as Sam Kerr set up Kyah Simon, whose heavily deflected shot found the back of the net.
The match saw Aston Villa’s Emily Gielnik make her 50th appearance for Australia.
