Manchester United have today confirmed that goalkeeper Mary Earps will depart the club, following the conclusion of her contract.

Earps made 125 appearances during her five-year spell with United, featuring last season’s FA Cup Final victory.

The former Reading keeper had joined the Reds in 2019, after a league and cup double-winning season with Wolfsburg.

The 31-year-old has 50 caps for England, whom she helped win the UEFA Women’s Championship and finish third at the World Cup.

Last year, she won both the BBC Sports Personality of the Year and BBC Women’s Footballer of the Year awards.
