Scotland beat the Philippines 2-0 in the Pinatar Cup semi-final in Spain and will play Slovenia or Finland in Tuesday’s final.

Sam Kerr made an important early block after losing possession on the edge of her own box, before Scotland took the lead midway through the first half.

Erin Cuthbert fired in a shot from outside the box which keeper Olivia McDaniel got down to, only for the ball to bounce up into the path of Martha Thomas to guide home.

Hayley Lauder saw her header tipped onto the crossbar and over, while Claire Emslie could not quite finish a couple of sharp chances that came to her at the far post.

The advantage was doubled later in the first half, Thomas netting again but this time with a far post header from Emslie’s cross.

The final on Tuesday 27 February kicks off at 1pm UK time and is live on BBC ALBA.
