The role is voluntary and will be determined by the training days and fixtures of the team, it will include Sunday matches and training which is currently held on a Wednesday evening at The Swindome.
The successful candidate will work as the on-pitch lead of Swindon Supermarine women’s team and will be primarily responsible for carrying out the following duties:
Key Accountabilities
• To work with the committee members to build a longstanding and sustainable women’s football club
• Working with the head coach to ensure high standards of coaching for all members of the squad and abilities
• Helping the club build both a development and first team for the 2017/18 season
• Representing the club at relevant league meetings along with the club secretary
• To ensure club adheres to FA regulations, league rules and Respect guidelines.

Education/Qualifications/Training:
Essential:
• Level 2 Licence Coaching Award
• A current FA Emergency Aid Certificate
• Membership of the FA Licensed Coaches Club.
Preferred:
• Experience of managing or coaching women.
Abilities/Skills/Knowledge:
• Possess a passion for the women’s game, and the drive to work tirelessly for the club towards its continued improvement
• Be a dynamic, confident communicator, with strong people management skills
• Have a conscientious approach to all areas of work
• Demonstrate a flexible approach with a proven commitment to teamwork
• Be prepared to undergo a satisfactory enhanced FA DBS check.
