Seven players will leave Aston Villa Women when their contracts expire at the end of June, including Japan’s Mana Iwabuchi.
Ella Franklin-Fraiture, Emma Follis, Amy West, Caroline Siems, Diana Silva and Nadine Hanssen are the others to be departing.
West (24) had been at the club since the age of nine, for Follis it is the end of her second spell having made her debut at the age of 17.
The pair, together with Franklin-Fraiture and Hanssen, helped secure promotion to the Barclays FA Women’s Super League in 2020, while Siems, Silva and Iwabuchi were added to the squad as the side successfully secured a second season in the top flight.
