Man Utd go three points clear in Barclays Women’s Super League

Manchester United won 4-0 away to Brighton on Saturday to go three points clear at the top of the Barclays Women’s Super League.

Leah Galton got the first of her double when heading in Katie Zelem’s corner after 12 minutes.

Midway through the second half, Galton was pushed wide by keeper Lydia Williams but still managed to find the net.

The points were made certain with two late goals, Rachel Williams turning in another Zelem corner and Lucia Garcia also getting on the score sheet.

The win put United three points in front of Manchester City, while Brighton remain just two points off the bottom.
