A late Wendie Renard goal saw Lyon beat PSG 2-1 on the night to reach the UEFA Women’s Champions League Final 5-3 on aggregate.

Lyon increased their narrow first leg advantage inside the first quarter of an hour, Selma Bacha’s cross headed home by Ada Hegerberg.

Barbora Votíková took the ball off the foot of Lyon’s Delphine Cascarino when she broke into the box, while Hegerberg had a second goal ruled out in the 55th minute.

Paris Saint-Germain quickly levelled in front of a large and raucous home crowd, Marie-Antoinette Katoto netting after a goalmouth scramble.

With Lyon’s overall lead reduced to 4-3, Renard made sure of their progress with a powerful header from another Bacha delivery seven minutes from time.

Lyon will now take on Barcelona in the final, to be held at the Juventus Stadium in Turin on Saturday 21 May.
