Leicester City Women’s England youth international defender Lucy Johnson is heading for the US to play for Arizona State Sun Devils.
The 18-year-old made 17 appearances for the Foxes over the past two seasons, nine in the abbreviated 2019-20 FA Women’s Championship campaign.
She had worked her way through youth teams at Lincoln and then Leicester City RTC, having originally been the only girl on her local village team, Long Bennington.
