Manchester United Women have confirmed that defender Lotta Ökvist has completed a move to Swedish side Göteborg FC.
The 23-year-old joined the club in August 2019, and made ten appearances in all competitions, her debut coming in the inaugural Manchester derby.
Ökvist made her senior international bow for Sweden at the 2020 Algarve Cup.
Manchester United Women head coach Casey Stoney said: “I’d like to personally thank Lotta for her commitment and hard work during her time with us, she is not only a great player but a fantastic person.
‘It has been a difficult year for everyone, and we as a club wanted to do the right thing by Lotta and give her the opportunity to return to Sweden. We all wish her the very best of luck in the next stage of her career.”
